How it all began

We do not exactly know how it all began in 1712 when our forefathers first dedicated themselves to viticulture.

What we do know is that we are just as excited today about this thousands-of-years-old cultural heritage wine as we were then. Though technology has advanced, wine remains a product of nature, whose highest quality can only be attained in harmony with nature.

We have always kept this thought in mind and, that being the case, in 2013, we decided to shift to ecological viticulture across the board. After a three-year changeover period, we have now accomplished our goal and are happy to have become a member in the association of ecologically operating winemakers, ECOVIN.
